Bilal Farms was founded in 1998 with one clear purpose: to provide the Muslim community of Ottawa with fresh, high-quality halal meat processed to the highest standards of Islamic practice and food safety. What began as a small family operation has grown over more than 25 years into one of Eastern Ontario's most trusted names in halal meat.

Locally Sourced, Provincially Inspected
All of our meat is sourced from local farms in the greater Ottawa area and across Eastern Ontario. We work directly with Ontario farmers to select quality livestock, and every animal is processed at our provincially inspected facility in Rockland, Ontario under the oversight of provincial inspectors. Our operation meets strict health and safety standards at every stage - from receiving to slaughter to cutting, packaging, and delivery. We have dedicated ourselves to serving the Muslim community in the way that our faith requires - with honesty, with care, and with complete transparency in how our meat is sourced and processed.
From Our Family to Yours
Over the years, Bilal Farms has grown from a single wholesale operation into a business that serves families, butcher shops, and restaurants across the Ottawa region. By popular demand, we opened our first retail location on Carling Avenue in Ottawa's west end, followed by a second shop on Cyrville Road in the east end - bringing fresh halal lamb, goat, veal, beef, and chicken directly to the neighbourhoods that asked for it.
Today, we are proud to extend that same quality and service to families across Ontario through our online store. The same locally sourced, provincially inspected, halal-certified meat that Ottawa has trusted for over 25 years is now available for delivery to your door anywhere in the province.
Haqiqa & Udhiya Services
For families observing Haqiqa or Udhiya, Bilal Farms can perform the sacrifice on your behalf at our provincially inspected facility in Rockland, Ontario. Whether you are in Ottawa or anywhere else in the province, we offer two options to serve you:
- Pick up - we process your order and have it ready for you at either of our Ottawa shop locations, cut and packaged to your specifications.
- Donate - if you are unable to pick up or wish to have the meat distributed to those in need, we can donate it on your behalf to local Muslim food banks in the Ottawa area. You receive confirmation that your obligation has been fulfilled and that the meat has reached families in our community who need it most.
